My name is Laura Jean and I’m a mostly self-taught freelance web developer and “code tweaker.” As the owner of several websites, I’ve spent most of my time behind the scenes, managing things and playing with code.

I design sites using the WordPress platform. I love WordPress because of its focus on web standards (good, compliant code), aesthetics (ooooh…pretty!) and usability. WordPress lets me build full-featured sites that you can update yourself!

Because of its versatility, WordPress has been my favorite for years. When I discovered the StudioPress themes designed by Brian Gardner, I quickly immersed myself in them. StudioPress themes fit perfectly with my philosophy of clean, organized and easy-to-navigate websites.
